  Occupational Therapists

Occupational Therapists carry out assessments of people with a physical disability or sensory impairment, in order to provide equipment or adaptations which could make a person with a disability independent or make caring for a person with a disability easier.

Equipment could solve problems experienced with a range of activities of daily living, such as moving around, using the toilet or eating.

If you wish to be referred to a Community Occupational Therapist, you need to ask your Doctor, Social Worker, Health Visitor or District Nurse.
