  Hearing Difficulties

If you feel that you or the person you care for are not hearing as clearly as you ought, you should consult your doctor. Your doctor may refer you to a consultant audiologist who can offer advice. Treatment is available and if you need a hearing aid it is available free through the National Health Service. Do not buy any hearing aid privately or reply to advertisements without first consulting your doctor.

Equipment (such as flashing light door alarms and TV aids) to help in the home is available on loan from Social Services.
