Furniture Matters

Collection of unwanted furniture

This project collects unwanted domestic furniture, recycles and refurbishes the items to redistribute to people in need in the District who are referred to the project by other agencies.  If you have any unwanted furniture, give Furniture Matters a ring and they will come and pick it up. 

Obtaining furniture

If you are on a low income and cannot afford to buy an item of furniture, Signposts, Age Concern in Carnforth, Social Services, the Citizens Advice Bureau, Lonsdale District Carers and some other organisations may be able to refer you to Furniture Matters for some furniture.

This is open on Tuesdays 10:00 - 16:00

At the rear of the old Waring and Gillow Building, North Road, Lancaster.  Age Concern will also collect any suitable furniture items offered to them to sell.
