CARERS DIRECTORY
CHIPS is an inter-church project based in Morecambe. They pair their
volunteers with people that are referred to them from Social Services and by
Health Care workers As well as establishing long-term friendships with people,
CHIPS volunteers can help people in a variety of ways.
For example they can help by:
Going shopping with an older person who would be unable to go out
otherwise
Small gardening tasks
Assistance pushing a wheelchair
Assisting with organizing home removal
CHIPS is also developing an "Open Door Centre" in Morecambe at
the address below.
