Counselling gives you the opportunity to talk through a situation with someone who is skilled in listening and in helping people to come to their own decisions.

Doctors’ Practices

Many Doctors’ practices now have a counsellor available at the surgery so it is worth asking if there is one at your surgery.

North Lancashire Counselling Service

The North Lancashire Counselling Service offers personal counselling for emotional problems e.g. anxiety, depression, grief, abuse, relationships etc.  Counsellors are fully qualified, they give their services voluntarily and no charge is made.

Relate (Marriage Guidance)

Relate provides a counselling service for adults who have difficulties or anxieties in their marriages or relationships as part of a couple.
