Continence

If continence is a problem, it is worth consulting your doctor or other health professional as it can sometimes be treated or practical help given. A referral to the local Continence Advisor may be helpful.

Bed linen or a supply of incontinence pads can be supplied weekly for people who are incontinent and living at home. For details, contact your GP (see Doctors) or your District Nurse (see Nursing).

Help The Aged produces a useful leaflet.
