CARERS DIRECTORY
For many carers, bad backs are an occupational hazard because of the
lifting involved in caring.
It may be worth investigating if there are any Adaptations or
Equipment which could reduce your risk of doing damage.
Alternatively, Back Care has a range of information leaflets which may be
of use:

BATHING
If the person you are caring for has difficulty with bathing, ask your GP
if the District Nurse can help or contact your social worker.
Bathing facilities are available for people regularly attending local
authority day centres.
There is a shower, available for public use and adapted for people with
disabilities, at Signposts.
A range of equipment is available to help make bathing at home easier
