Lancaster County Council Welfare Rights Service offers free, confidential advice and help to the residents of Lancashire in various ways including the help and advice sessions listed on this web page.
All advice sessions are subject to the availability of our four advisers based at our office. Occasionally we may have to cancel advice sessions due to, for example, staff training. Please phone first if you are making a special journey to an advice session.

If you are unable to attend advice sessions and your query cannot be dealt with over the phone, we may be able to arrange a home visit. Please ask for details.
Area Office advice sessions at White Cross, Lancaster (you can book in by ringing or calling into our office). We see six people at each of the advice sessions listed below. Bookings are limited to one week in advance.
