The Health Authority and Social Services have a number of day care
facilities in Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham. To find out more and to arrange for day care you need to
speak to your Doctor or a Social Worker see Social Services.
The Social Services Department can organize day care for people who are
housebound or require more physical or social care than is available in ordinary
clubs.
There are a number of different clubs and social gatherings in the area
for people who are of retirement age.
