  Diet

A healthy diet is important for both you as a carer and the person you care for.  Advice on nutrition and diets is available from the Community Dietician.

Special Diets

If you think you need a special diet, or you are eating very little due to an illness, talk to your GP first for referral to a Dietician as necessary.

If you are already under the care of a specialist, e.g. for diabetes, you can contact the specialist you have been seeing for advice.
